Inflammatory bowel disease involves chronic inflammation of all or part of your digestive tract. Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease are two types of inflammatory bowel disease.  Symptoms of these may include severe diarrhea, pain, fatigue, weight loss, and even rectal bleeding. These conditions are life-long, but can be effectively managed with various forms of treatment.

Treatment for these diseases comes in the form of pills, IV infusions, and subcutaneous injections (subcutaneous injections potentially self-administered by the patient).  Determining the best and most effective form of treatment for a patient is something that Dr. Schub has a significant amount of experience in.  Additionally, our office provides in office IV infusions and injection training by skilled providers.  We offer some of the newest forms of IV infusion and subcutaneous injection treatments including Entyvio, Simponi, Humira, and Remicade.

If you are concerned that you may have inflammatory bowel disease or have already been diagnosed and are interested in learning more about treatment options available to you, please call and schedule an appointment!
